Acts 20:24 “However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.”
As I think about the amount of the heroes and personal mentors who have struggled to get to the finish line of ministry, Luke’s words resonate more than ever.
I am a Christ follower, Husband, Father and Church Planter, and the overwhelming pressure of these things together often jumbles up my daily priorities. The start of the race is the easiest, the adrenaline is pumping, our blissful ignorance is beautiful, and the vision has a perfect mix of idealism and faith. The question isn’t will you start; it has always been how will you finish? It’s become increasingly important for our generation to see ministry through the lens of an extended race instead of a sprint. The transformational work of Jesus in the life of a community is worth giving our lives to but as we do it, the enemy has placed the target squarely on our backs. We must be prayerful, vigilant, and united. God has called us for such a time as this, are you “Built to last?”

Church Planters, Lead Pastors, Team Members, Potential Church Planters/Team Members/etc., and Spouses are all welcome. Each person needs to register separately. Childcare is not available at this time, but older children who would like to attend and participate are welcome. Mothers who would like to bring their newborns and care for them during the gathering are welcome to do that.
